Space to talk in confidence
It can be challenging to prioritise self-care and make time for ourselves and it is not uncommon to feel overwhelmed and lose direction. When our emotions and thoughts are pushed aside, it can often lead to problems that affect our health and overall experience of life.
If you are dealing with anxiety or issues that are compromising your well- being, seeking support is important to move forward.
Talking therapies provide a safe and relaxed environment where you can freely share your concerns. It allows for exploration and understanding of your thoughts and emotions, helping you to provide clarity to make lasting change.
I understand and appreciate the importance of providing a safe, relaxed and confidential space for you to share your concerns. In my counselling approach, I utilise an integrative approach, drawing on various therapeutic techniques to tailor the sessions to your needs.
The sessions are client-led, allowing you to take the lead in making sense of your feelings. I will be there to support you through this process, offering guidance, empathy and understanding. My goal is to help you move forward, working towards change and personal growth.
Together we will work towards identifying and overcoming any obstacles that may be holding you back, helping you to achieve the goals you need for a fulfilling life.

Please contact me by email or telephone to arrange a 30 minute consultation. During this consultation, we can discuss your concerns in more details and how I can best support you. I offer various options for sessions, including face to face (Whilst adhering to covid restrictions), online sessions through Zoom, or telephone appointments. Please let me know which option works best for you.
In order to provide the most effective support, we will begin with a brief assessment to better understand your needs and goals. This will allow us to establish a clear contract for our services, ensuring that we are working towards the desired outcomes.
Our sessions typically take place weekly, with a review after 6 weeks. Whether you prefer long or short-term therapy, we can discuss the approach to sit your individual requirements.
During our 50 minutes sessions, I offer the space to explore your feelings and concerns, enabling you to identify and note changes. I am committed during this process to help you achieve those goals.
Person centred therapy (PCT) focuses on your concerns and worries, allowing you to lead the sessions to make sense of your feelings. This approach aims to create a safe and non-judgemental environment for you to explore and understand yourself better.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which is widely used by the NHS, can be incorporated to actively involve you in your own progress. If you find that you are stuck in a cycle of anxiety or face ongoing problems, we can explore how you might change your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to achieve a different outcome.
Psychodynamic therapy can also be used to gain a clearer understanding of why you behave as you do in certain situations. This approach can help you explore and address beliefs that you may have learnt in the past and identify strategies to make positive changes.
By combining these approaches to your specific needs, it allows you to gain insight and ultimately change unhelpful patterns.
